A monarch lunge pen is situated adjacent to the stable yard.  A safe and secure large 20m radius circle, stock boarding on lower circumference, and a shelter belt planted around to provide shelter.  Excellent new drainage has been laid below the Equestrian Surfaces all weather wax and sand mix.  

Used for coaching young/less experienced riders, lunge lessons to improve position, breaking youngsters or to help riders feel more confident in a smaller space perhaps after sometime off from riding.  It also provides extra space for working a horse/pony without using the all-weather arena

The covered Monarch five bay horse walker was installed in 2014 and is a vital asset to help with the management of the horses and ponies. Stockboarding on the sides and rubber paving on the flor ensures a safe environment. Located next to the lunge pen.

The walker is an excellent tool for helping to achieve a desired level of fitness, maintaining fitness or helping with rehabilitation after an injury.  It can also be used for warming up and cooling down before and after exercise.
