The Quell Foundation Bridge the Gap Scholarship is awarded to junior and senior college or graduate students. Recipients of this scholarship pursue studies in psychology, social work or other fields of study related to the provision of mental health services. The award was created to fulfill the Quell Foundation`s mission: to increase the talent pool through scholarships for students entering the mental health profession, expand the provision of necessary mental health services, and promote the Reformation to expand the reach of clinical and behavioral health services. Regardless of the area of law, beneficiaries should focus on using the legal system to support the less fortunate. All nominees must demonstrate their past and current commitment to victim advocacy and/or community service. To apply, each candidate must submit an essay explaining their goals and intentions to use their legal education to improve the lives of specific people, the community, or society as a whole. The essay should be limited to a maximum of 3 pages. In addition, applicants must submit a financial statement of need, accompanied by supporting documents. Golden State Workers Compensation is an African-American minority law firm. Attorney Ryan Davis believes in a strong connection to the community, and Golden State Workers` Compensation is committed to helping the next generation of single African-American women achieve their dreams. The Baer Scholarship is designed for students diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. You must be currently undergoing treatment and actively participating in rehabilitation or reintegration efforts, to name a few prerequisites. The goal of this funding is to help people with these disorders develop educational skills to get their lives back.
Amounts awarded are based on need and can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. The scholarship was created to celebrate international and DACA students who enrich the university campus with their diverse experiences and perspectives. MPOWER awards three (3) scholarships of $1,000 to international and DACA students studying or wishing to study in the United States. While any student can apply for almost any scholarship, there are many scholarships specifically for women. Among the scholarships listed above are the American Association of University Women Scholarship and the Mike Eidson Law Student Scholarship from the American Association for Justice. The $1,500 prize is awarded to the participant who Kaine Law believes best aligns with our vision of improving communities. In honor of George and to continue his legacy, the Vorys Diversity and Inclusion Committee has established scholarships of up to $10,000 for various law students whose spirit, drive and dedication lead them to pursue a career with Vorys while demonstrating leadership skills and being “difference makers” in their communities and/or schools. The Strauss Scholarship offers a $25,000 scholarship to two outstanding second-year law students at U.S. law schools to offset the cost of their third year of law school. In addition to the financial reward, the scholarships also offer mentorship from law firm lawyers and a second-year paid summer partner position in the Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, DC offices. Applications are currently accepted by law students and law graduates with a demonstrated commitment to community service, including, but not limited to, commitment to the Japanese American Community and/or API Community. Other factors may include financial need, adversity, academic achievements, and the desire to practice law in Southern California. Best, his friends created a scholarship to encourage and support outstanding academic achievement and dedication to the service of law students. The best scholarship is an annual prize that will be awarded this year in the spring semester of 2023 in the amount of $2,000. More than one scholarship may be awarded. Requirements for applicants • A United States Citizen or lawful permanent resident • Be a full-time scholarship holder at an accredited college or university • Be a degree entering law school after a bachelor`s degree • Be an undergraduate graduate entering law school as a first-year lawyer • Have at least 3.0 GPA on the 4.0 scale • Demonstrate leadership and be active in the community • Become a candidate The Quell Foundation Survivor Scholarship is awarded to current high school graduates or undergraduates/PhD students who have experienced the devastating loss of a parent, caregiver or sibling to suicide.
