Michael Hovane has been a lawyer for over 28 years and has worked for Legal Aid WA for 20 years, where he leads the domestic violence unit and works as a litigator, ICL and FDRP in the Family Law Practice Unit. Michael is passionate about the field of family violence and the need to work holistically and collaboratively, and has played a key role in establishing a number of multidisciplinary interagency family violence services and partnerships for health justice.
