Catherine Shephard is Senior Lecturer and Head of Commercial Practice, Corporate Law and Professional Practice Skills at Manchester Law School. She studied law at Emmanuel College, Cambridge and practised as a barrister in the field of corporate finance. Catherine has extensive experience in designing, teaching, directing and evaluating legal, skills and management programs in academia and practice. Catherine is a member of the Academy of Higher Education, a qualified civil and business mediator and resilience trainer for the Social Mobility Business Partnership.

Peter Goodchild is an Associate Professor at the University of Law. He studied politics, philosophy and economics at St. Anne`s College, Oxford, then attended the University of Law and graduated as a lawyer in commercial practice in 1997. He joined the University of Law in 2000 where he taught English law, contracts, tort, ethics, commercial law, intellectual property and commercial structures law.
