Epson Scan can be used to scan via USB connection or via wired or wireless network connection (Wi-Fi). If you choose to add or edit pages after scanning, you can scan additional originals after scanning the original. If you specify the image format as PDF or Multi-TIFF, you can also save the scanned images as a single file. By default, Epson Scan is set to scan using a USB cable and an error is displayed when Epson Scan is open and a scanner is connected via a network or Wi-Fi connection. Note: The Scan Area setting limits the scan area to a selected size, starting with the placement arrow on the scanner glass. The image is not scaled to the selected size.
