Scotlands Premier Equestrian Facility

Training

Strathearn Eventing has approximately one thousand visits a year from all over Scotland with a range of abilities and requirements. Lessons on clients own horses vary from individuals to pairs, groups, pony/riding clubs, camps and visiting school groups.

Training is undertaken in a wide variety of disciplines including flatwork, showjumping, working hunter and showing or just improving your general riding. Sarah Houlden BScHons, EFI Level 2 Coach has experienced all aspects of training in her riding career with starting out from an early age to being a member of five British Three Day Event Teams. This puts Sarah in a good position to pass on her knowledge and is backed up by being one of only a few coaches in the country to hold an EFI Level 2 certificate. Sarah is a British Eventing Accredited coach and enjoys taking days away from home and would be delighted to attend venues for coaching sessions, please call for further information.

We understand that riding is a partnership whether you are riding just for fun or at competition level. Our range of facilities will allow us to tailor the lesson to meet your own requirements – to help build confidence for horse or rider, problems with water, balance or riding lines we can help.

Sarah’s competitive experience is there to train the more ambitious rider, to work on individual aspects, or exercises for the season, grid work or ring craft. We are proud to have helped a number of individuals and clubs in achieving their goals.
